Looking fora Senior Project Engineer
supporting our Maintenance and Engineering Group located at our central PA facility .
The Sr. Project Engineer role provides technical assistance related to manufacturing and process systems.
The focus of the role is on ensuring manufacturing equipment and facilities are operating as intended while managing various projects to meet the requirements for chemical manufacturing and drive improvements.
Responsibilities of the Project Engineering function include both tactical support of ongoing plant operations and strategic implementation of engineering projects to meet the changing needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Provide engineering services to optimize project development, from conception, engineering, estimating, and construction, through completion on individual projects from $200T-$10MM.
Support facility capital budgets in the range of $5-12MM annually.
Ensure compliance of projects with regulatory codes and requirements.
Perform all aspects of project management
Manage vendors, contractors, and internal personnel as dictated by project requirements.
Key Requirements
B.S. in Engineering, mechanical or chemical engineer preferred.
8-10 years of experience, preferably in a refining, chemicals, or similar industry with exposure and responsibilities in the project management, operations, and maintenance/engineering areas.
Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations including cGMP and OSHA
Ability to manage multiple activities and prioritize tasks with minimal direction or oversight.
Ability to lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders, including management, contractors, and maintenance personnel.
Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and electronic, presentation and meeting management.
