    Job Title: Tier 1.5 Support Engineer

    Job Location: Plano, TX 75023

    Shift: Sunday – Thursday from 2pm – 11p


    For the NMC (Network Maintenance team)

    · Be able to proactively perform data audit, SW/FW audit, and health check of the servers and sites if needed

    · Support trials (e.g., Field Integration Test (FIT) or First Office Application (FOA)) for new features or technology before market-wide deployment

    · Minimum of 5 years of telecom work experience (4G)

    · Good knowledge of wireless network architecture concepts especially in RAN domain

    · Very Good knowledge of UNIX/LINUX operating systems to be able to perform activities at the CLI level

    · Ability to develop scripts and tools to aide with the reports generation and analysis will be a plus

    · Good customer support experience

    · The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with multiple levels within the company and with external contacts

    · Good analytical skills to investigate and evaluate trending data for issue resolution

    · Strong working knowledge of Microsoft excel

    Additional Insight:

    Look for someone that has intermediate Unix Linux Scripting Knowledge

    Hybrid Tier 1/Tier 2 Support Engineer (Not TAC)

    They will need to be able to modify existing scripts within Logic

    They should be able to execute scripts and modify scripts

    Servers Experience

    4G Knowledge

    This individual will be responsible for prep work for server maintenance that will occur overnight.

    This is for all scheduled activities that are performed at night

    Microsoft Excel Knowledge

    This individual should understand network elements

    Working on NMT Team (Network Maintenance Team)
