We are currently seeking a Process Development Engineering Manager to join our team to lead process innovation in research, development, implementation, and sustaining phases.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a high energy, self-motivated person with strong technical leadership and communication skills.
The successful candidate will be able to manage and lead process design and development engineering activities in a customer focused, 'make it happen' environment.
Lead a cross-functional engineering team responsible for entire process development cycle with effective tracking and reporting of status to internal and external stakeholdersEnsure completion of engineering deliverables such as prototypes, process capability studies, process qualification documentation, equipment assessments, process roadmaps, and critical timelines and status
Own process validation, providing a complete package of evidence that the process is able to produce product which meets all customer requirements
Supports global manufacturing sites in localization and qualification of processes
Work closely with NPI and manufacturing engineering to ensure transition of products to manufacturing.
Makes sure production is ready for the product
Select, develop and coach individuals and build a highly motivated and high performing global team.
Find a way to get things done and build the team
~ 10% travel, as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from a four-year university with 4+ years related experience and/or training within the connector industry, preferred
Demonstrated technical leadership ability in the wire and cable industry
Demonstrated engineering management ability
Advanced technical degree or MBA highly recommended
Must be highly literate with Office software; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Ability to operate with minimal supervision and proactively identify, review, discuss, and resolve problems.
