In-Field**:Yuba City, CA.


Location Status:

Work will be primarily performed at a designated field worksite location based out of a central Race Communications worksite.

Occasional
travel to and work from other Race offices or other off-site locations will be required.


Pay:
Salary + Bonus Incentive Potential | Hourly rate $18-19/hr. | Total anticipated yearly compensation between $36,000 - $75,000

Summary:


As an Outside Sales Representative, your primary responsibility is to expand Race Communications' customer base by proactively engaging potential customers.

You will achieve this by actively seeking out opportunities to interact with individuals in their homes and communities.

Your goal will be to build meaningful connections with potential customers and effectively communicate the value of Race Communications' products and services to gain their business.


This individual should be able to communicate and work effectively with external service representatives and internal team members who possess a wide variety of backgrounds, personalities, and communication skills.

This individual should be able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment while maintaining a productive professional demeanor.

This individual must be capable of working independently, as well as collaboratively with other Race team members across teams and levels of our organization.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years
  • Preferred high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Preferred associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a twoyear college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Required experience of at least one year as an Inside Sales Representative or equivalent work experience
  • Preferred working knowledge of CRM systems and practices
  • Proven track record of successful customer relationship management
  • Ability to travel moderate distances periodically to attend sales events
  • Preferred possession of a valid CA Basic Class C driver's license
  • Proficiency in Spanish language a plus

  • Proficient use of MS Office tools (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams) and iPad for taking orders

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Sales Outreach and Customer Engagement:

  • Sources new sales opportunities through doortodoor education of Race fiber optic internet, phone, and television services
  • Identifies, assesses, and understands customer needs and requirements to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Identifies potential sales opportunities, and generates interest and sales opportunities
  • Builds relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication (listening)

Sales Goals and Performance:

  • Meets or exceeds monthly sales goals set by you and your manager
  • Manages creation and presentation of quotations for opportunities as they are identified
