    Job DescriptionCodeworks is an IT Services firm headquartered in SE Wisconsin, known for our strong commitment to quality and for our direct client relationships.


    Who We're Looking For:
    We are seeking a talented and experienced Desktop Support II Technician to join our team in Madison, WI.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical support to endusers, both in person and remotely.
    • Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
    • Collaborate with other IT professionals to address complex technical problems.
    • Set up and configure new workstations and peripheral devices.
    • Maintain and update software applications and operating systems.
    • Perform system upgrades, backups, and migrations.
    • Assist with IT asset management and inventory control.
    • Respond to service requests and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or a related role.
    • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
    • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
    • Familiarity with hardware components and peripheral devices.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • A customercentric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
    • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
