    Temporary Administrative Assistant - Dallas, United States - Career Group

    Description

    A renowned hedge fund in Dallas is seeking a skilled Office Assistant to offer assistance to the Hiring Manager in their Dallas office Promptly. This position requires a dynamic, inventive, future-focused individual who will be engaged on a temporary basis.

    Duties:

    • Support the HR manager in shaping policies, procedures, and modifications, and effectively conveying all updates to staff
    • Manage schedules and prioritize meetings based on business priorities
    • Handle incoming calls and ensure they are directed correctly
    • Prepare expense reports
    • Organize logistics for both internal and external meetings, conference calls, and compile and distribute materials required for meetings as needed
    • Assist in the daily operations of HR responsibilities and tasks
    • Organize HR initiatives (meetings, training, surveys, etc.) and document proceedings
    • Conduct vendor investigations

    Requirements:

    • Extensive administrative expertise, with a minimum of 3 years in the field
    • Desire to engage in HR
    • Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, OneNote, etc.)
    • Skilled in administrative tasks like correspondence, data entry, and record management
    • Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and address staff issues with care
    • Outstanding organizational abilities
    • Effective communication aptitude
