Director, IT Strategic Sourcing
has the responsibility for managing the sourcing life cycle for the IT spend categories.
The role will lead a team of - 6 sourcing professionals who will co-develop the direction for the IT subcategories and execute against established strategic plans.
This role will ensure that the sourcing team meets cost reduction, risk reduction & mitigation, and other targets and leverages the capabilities of the supply market to help internal clients gain and sustain a competitive advantage.
Position expectations require deep IT procurement expertise across strategic sourcing activities with high - levels of stakeholder engagement, alignment and collaboration with Category Management.
Responsible for ensuring that Procurement is involved at the earliest stages by using insightful market data and bringing forward compelling recommendations to further shape the strategy.

Provide direction across IT functional areas and programs that involve RFx strategic sourcing and third-party contractual matters.
Partner with Category Management in co-developing IT procurement category strategies, identifying, sourcing, and securing services based on business requirements/results.
Synthesize the supply base and establish strong partnership relationships with critical suppliers and business stakeholders.

Director IT Strategic Sourcing , you will bring world-class sophistication to our procurement activities on a consistent basis.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future
Lead a team of sourcing consultants to co-develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies.
Partner with senior stakeholders to increase the influence of procurement across the globe.
Be the central point of contact for guidance and support for all IT strategic sourcing matters.
Assist IT business in developing and supporting an approved suppliers list and supplier risk governance program.
Assist in enforcing procurement policies/ processes within the region (s) to improve spending visibility and increase control of our cost base.
Overseeing in bidding and negotiation activity in the specification of requirements, requests for proposals, evaluation, and supplier selection.Through deep analysis, actively find opportunities, co-develop strategies and category plans that deliver significant value, implement and drive those through, guiding and managing stakeholders along the way.
Remain current with market trends through relationships with third parties and market experts; identifying and communicating innovative technologies and key problems in the assigned spend areas.
What You Need to Succeed10 + years of experience in IT procurement, IT contracting and Managed Services
Telecom, Hardware. Application Service Providers (ASP), Software as a Service (SaaS)
Managed Services across Technology and Professional Services related services.
Managed shared services (BPO/ offshore) support resources across Source to Pay (S2P).
Prior management consulting experience with proven record in:
Procurement Operating Model and Process Design
Delivering large-scale procurement transformations across various industries
Advised C-level management in their strategic blueprints - based on data analysis, experience, expertise, and an innovative approach.
Knowledge in challenging the "status quo," creating transparency for clients, helping them understand the implications of their costs, synthesizing & advising how to improve.
Developed and upskilled junior consultants with best-in-class strategic sourcing practices reflecting specific and measurable attributes as part of their "toolbox.
"Developed and executed comprehensive category strategy encompassing end to end technology services and products.
Minimum of a BS; MBA / master's degree a plus
Experience working in a global organization is preferred.
Experience of both Strategic and Operational Procurement
Understand Category Management function / approach.
Prominent level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay tool(s), Ariba is a plus.
Knowledge and prior usage of Business Intelligence tools.
Knowledge and prior usage of Think Cell application.
