    How You'll Make an Impact

    A QA Inspector will have a detailed knowledge of aerospace inspection techniques, customer specifications, and a dedication to being part of a world class manufacturing team.

    What you'll be doing as a Manufacturing QA Inspector: * Working a Full-time, onsite position at our Fife, WA location.


    • Preferred shift time is Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Other shift times may also be available.
    • Inspects aerospace machine parts and assemblies using coordinate measuring machines running PC-DMIS software.
    • Conducts conventional inspection to engineering requirements using height gages, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, and other standard inspection methods.
    • Responsible for first part buy off, final inspection, first article reports, rejection tags, and supplier non-conformance notifications.
    • Examines manufacturing plans, engineering documents, and drawings to determine product requirements per ASME Y14.5 specification.
    • Trouble shoots and problem solves machining processes when necessary.
    • Prints and follows inspection staging requirements.
    • Buys in material, standards, and parts.
    • Prepares and completes first articles per AS9102.
    • Operates CMM.
    • Ensures documents are kept up to date.
    • Completes all daily record keeping requirements.
    • Adheres to all workplace safety guidelines, policies, and laws determined by the company, state, and federal authorities.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Available to work a full-time position with pre-determined shift times.
    • Inspects aerospace machine parts and assemblies using coordinate measuring machines running PC-DMIS software.

    Required Attributes:

    • Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications including Catia and Enovia.
    • Detailed knowledge of inspection techniques, measuring, and trigonometry.
    • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize activities within an environment of fast-paced periods of competing deadlines and fluctuating workload.
    • Team player with a can-do attitude

    Preferred attributes:

    • Two years' experience as a QA Inspector in the aerospace industry.
    • Experience with CMM, geometric tolerances, record keeping, and use of various types of precision measuring equipment.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft applications and MRP systems

    • Access, input, and retrieve information from a computer

    Work Environment:

    A large percentage of work time is spent in a machine shop where temperatures vary from hot to cold.

    The environment may also include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, vapor from coolant, etc.

    Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required.

    The QA Inspector Compensation range for onsite Washington applicants is $2- 32/hr. commensurate with experience. Some shifts may include shift differential pay rates. Other site ranges may differ.
