The Archdiocese of Freiburg is looking for a Auditor/Inspector (m/f/d) for the Audit Office located in Freiburg, with a workload of up to 100% (39.5 or 41 hours per week) on an indefinite basis.

The Audit Office for the Archdiocese of Freiburg is an independent auditing institution that assists the Archbishop in fulfilling his canonical duty of supervising the management of assets of ecclesiastical legal entities (such as diocesan offices, parishes, or Caritas associations).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting audits of financial and accounting processes, personnel matters, and organization of institutions with various legal forms, with a focus on personnel management
  • Providing advice to assigned institutions on business matters
  • Contributing to quality assurance and improvement of auditing methods

You bring with you:

  • A Bachelor of Arts in Public Management or Bachelor of Laws, Dipl. Administrative Officer, Dipl. Financial Officer, or a degree in economics (e.g. business administration) or a comparable qualification, preferably with a focus on personnel management
  • The ability and willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics, software programs, and tasks
  • A confident and self-assured demeanor
