Who We Are: Mental Health Support Services (MHSS) provides mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorder services for individuals in Chesterfield County. Are you someone who enjoys finding new solutions to address issues identified during quality assurance activities? If so, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator for our residential program.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; - Minimum of two years of experience in quality assurance/control or a similar area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in human resources, hiring, and recruitment is highly preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of area-specific principles and practices, quality assurance audit, and compliance activities; - Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative analysis; - Ability to plan and execute quality assurance/improvement initiatives, analyze data effectively, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing; - Proficient in operating standard office equipment and computer software; - Capacity to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with human resources functions, such as recruitment and hiring, is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; - Pre-employment drug testing, FBI background check, and education verification are mandatory.
Duties include:
- Coordinating and overseeing new employee orientation training; - Developing data tools for evaluating program effectiveness; - Ensuring quality assurance in a residential setting while complying with regulations; - Providing feedback to management; - Delivering quality improvement training to staff; - Monitoring stakeholder satisfaction and facilitating quality indicator reporting; - Performing other assigned tasks.
Shift:
28 hours/week; flexible shifts.
