Mental Health Support Services (MHSS) is the provider of mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorder services for children and adults in Chesterfield County.

Do you enjoy developing new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities? Great We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator for our residential program

Minimum Education and Experience:


Bachelor's degree in a field related to the assigned area of responsibility; two years of experience in the area of assignment with emphasis on quality assurance/control; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Experience in human resources, hiring, and recruitment strongly preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Additional Requirements:
  • Current valid driver's license and good driving record required. Based on the Virginia DMV point system, record must not reflect a total of six or more demerit points within the twentyfour months preceding the anticipated hire date, or one major violation of six demerit points within the preceding thirtysix months. Out of state driving records must be obtained by applicant and presented at time of interview. Record must reflect at least three years of history and dated within thirty days of interview date.

Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check, and education/degree verification required.

Duties:


  • Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinating and monitoring new employee orientation training to include Medicaid Waiver curriculum, policies and procedures, licensure, etc.;
  • Developing data capture tools to measure quantity, quality, and effectiveness of programs and/or services, etc. as required;
  • Ensuring and maintaining quality assurance in a 24 hour residential communitybased group home setting in accordance with county, state, and federal regulations;
  • Providing feedback to the Residential Management team;
  • May provide training to staff regarding quality improvement:
  • Monitoring and tracking stakeholder satisfaction and assisting with key quality indicator (KQI) reporting; and
  • Performs other work as required.
