    Job Responsibilities:
    • OR West has 10 operating rooms specializing in Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery, covering various surgical procedures such as bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, and more.
    • Staff work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts and are on call during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays.
    As part of an exciting organizational effort, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is providing a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 for OR West RNs.
    Important Details:
    • New hires at BILH or returning employees after 1 year are eligible.
    • Full-time status is for schedules 30 hours per week or more; part-time is 20-29 hours per week.
    • Per diem employees are not eligible for sign-on bonuses.
    • Bonus amounts and eligible roles are subject to change based on hiring needs.
    Job Description:
    Job Summary: The BIDMC Nursing Mission focuses on delivering compassionate care, advancing nursing practices, and advocating for patient health. The Clinical Nurse II provides direct nursing care, guided by the nursing process and under the supervision of a Nurse Leader.
    Essential Responsibilities:
    • Provide direct patient care and make necessary nursing decisions.
    • Coordinate patient care and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
    • Maintain annual mandatory education requirements and participate in professional development activities.
    • Show commitment to patient care, staff, and the medical center.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
    • Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification required.
    • 1-3 years of related work experience (preferably in critical care).
    • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate web-based applications.
    Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital and specialized area expertise.
