- Perform comprehensive clinical laboratory procedures of low and high complexity as directed by the laboratory manager.
- Perform preparation of reagents and controls
- Perform daily and weekly maintenance of equipment per SOPs (standard operating procedures) and any other applicable documentation
- Maintain laboratory and equipment clean and functional (On the job training will be provided)
- Perform all tasks related - clinical sample testing (blood, urine), including sample receipt, log-in, sample preparation and testing, recording test results, and disposing of samples
- Organize stock and maintains inventory; order stock as needed
- Adhere to existing safety standards and help improve laboratory safety practices
- General responsibilities- maintenance of laboratory equipment, data entry, maintenance of laboratory records including quality control, instrument logs, and inventory of reagents and supplies
- Provide support to direct and extended R&D team as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Associate Degree- w/ 3 years' of previous working experience or
- 4-yr bachelor's degree (Chemistry, Biology, or other STEM related field) w/ 0-2 years' of previous working experience
- Experience w/ urine chemistry and/or hematology diagnostic testing and instrumentation Preferred
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of laboratory duties and/or biological sciences Required
- Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
- The position is subject to passing a background check and drug screen
