- This position requires a person who has some knowledge of laboratory duties and/or biological sciences.
- The candidate will perform comprehensive clinical laboratory procedures of low and high complexity as directed by the laboratory manager.
- General responsibilities include maintenance of laboratory equipment, data entry, maintenance of laboratory records including quality control, instrument logs, and inventory of reagents and supplies.
- Perform preparation of reagents and controls
- Perform daily and weekly maintenance of equipment per SOPs (standard operating procedures) and any other applicable documentation
- Maintain laboratory and equipment clean and functional (On the job training will be provided)
- Perform all tasks related to clinical sample testing (blood, urine), including sample receipt, log-in, sample preparation and testing, recording test results, and disposing of samples
- Organize stock and maintains inventory; order stock as needed
- Adhere to existing safety standards and help improve laboratory safety practices whenever possible
- Provide support to direct and extended R&D team as necessary

- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Associate Degree- with 3 years' experience
- 4-year bachelor's degree (Chemistry, Biology, or other STEM related field) with 0-2 years' experience
- Experience with urine chemistry and/or hematology diagnostic testing and instrumentation preferred
