Post-Anesthesia Care Units (PACU) deliver services to multiple surgical specialties in a hospital-based facility. We are a high-energy unit which provides care for patients during the peri-operative process. We have an exceptional unit highlighted by teamwork and dedication.
Our environment collaboratively engages process improvements for the betterment of our patients, co-workers, and community.
There is a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care and procedures performed. 28 bed unit made up of patients having surgery requiring moderate and general anesthesia.
~ Variety of surgical procedures recovered including general surgery, orthopedics, neuro, cardiothoracic, vascular, bariatric, urology and more.
~ RN ratio 2:1 and 1:1 with patients requiring higher level of care to stabilize. Tech support available.
~ Critical care experience preferred.
~ Collaboration with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and other members of the patient care team.
