Admissions Nurse (RN) Part-time 3-11 pmEncompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Vineland, NJ is not like other hospitals. We are a 41-bed adult acute rehab hospital in Southern, NJ. We are Joint Commission Accredited and Gold Seal Certified in Stroke, Brain Injury and Hip Fracture rehabilitation. We are also a leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation for other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.
This is a 3:00pm - 11:00 PM part time position, working two days during the week with an every other weekend rotation to help support admissions activity for our hospital.
A patient just admitted to Encompass Health of Vineland has many needs and they have often just been transferred from an acute care hospital, having experienced a serious injury or medical event.
Our patients immediately get involved in their own recovery and they need to understand what to expect, their families need to know how we work and how important they are in that recovery.
A new patient may be hungry, be in pain, need medication and may have trouble communicating and we know this is important, but time consuming for our other staff nurses.
