    Description

    Overview PROGRAM MANAGER - TECHNICAL (ITP): Bowhead is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager - Technical to manage a large and complex IT program in the Washington, DC/Northern Virginia region.

    This is a fast paced job managing subject matter experts and IT professionals advising executive level personnel on financial, technical, and other high-level policy areas.

    Responsibilities * Responsible for the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project typically consisting of a set of closely related subprograms or associated activities

    • Oversees fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the program
    • Have an understanding and experience with large complex IT projects and organizations
    • Other duties as assigned Qualifications
    • Education: Master's Degree or Equivalent
    • Years of experience: 10+
    • Required skills or certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
    • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

    Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
    • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
    • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

    SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
    Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location. #LI-KC1
