    The Role

    As a member of our sales team, you will be responsible for qualifying interested prospects by phone and email using our best-in-class sales systems. Using our scalable qualifying process, you will identify leads looking to explore our experience packages in more detail who are ready to take the next steps of the buying process. As an Event Sales Specialist, you will set and schedule initial meetings, to then book the guest. This position report directly to the Sales Management team including Director of Sales and SVP of Sales.

    Responsibilities
    • Perform sales development activities such as inbound lead follow-up, calls, emails, and chat to schedule quality meetings, support the sales team in generating pipeline, and increase revenue using Outreach, Salesforce, and QuintEvents' internal sales methodologies.
    • Learn, master and utilize customer-focused selling techniques, including thorough preparation for Opening, Investigating, Presenting, Confirming and Positioning.
    • Maintain, manage, and report on a healthy pipeline for consistent performance and visibility. This includes clear communication with sales management.
    • Address post-sale questions from guests for successful Account Management which includes upselling on newly released products, cross-sell into other partnerships, and encourage repeat sales to guests.
    • Coordinate communications with the Guest Services, Event Operations, Quint Rooms, and other departments relavent to each guests' booking.
    • Respect and treat ethically all members of the internal team, partners, customers, and all other persons while representing Quint.
    • No travel is standard nor required, but an ESS may have the opportunity to attend events as an Operations Volunteer.
    Requirements

    Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales or business experience
    • Sporting, entertainment, hospitality, or travel industry experience, particularly into an existing partnership, is a plus.
    • Experience in a non-retail sales role, or appointment-setter is a plus.
    Skills/Abilities
    • Strong computer skills are a must.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively and comfortably interact with professionals of all titles, including executive leadership, both internally and externally,
    • Flexibility to manage competing priorities, shift focus as determined by the changing needs of the business, and continually adapt in a rapidly growing sales organization
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    • Eagerness to take ownership over tasks, assignments, and projects.
    • Maintain department standard metrics relating to effort and production.
    • Strong qualifying and selling skills and the ability to influence prospects, customers, referral sources and partners,
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally, to engage with internal and external prospects and stakeholders,
    • Initiative, a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results throughout changing conditions,
    • A collaborative mentality, strong relationship-building skills, and comfort working closely and accurately within established guidelines,
    • The ability and desire to rapidly learn large amounts of new information around entirely new topics, specifically rapid mastery of the basics needed to perform this job, and the ability to recall this quickly and accurately,
