    Hotel Emblem San Francisco is inspired by the literature phenomenon and unfettered spirit of the Beat Generation - San Francisco's most celebrated cultural movement of the 20th century that inspired millions to live boldly and uncensored. A member of The Viceroy Urban Retreats, the upscale 96-room boutique hotel is located where Nob Hill meets Union Square, featuring eclectic guestrooms, stimulating events, rich cultural and wellness experiences, and the authentic hospitality that Viceroy guests are accustomed to.

    We are currently seeking a Full-Time, Guest Service Agent to join our team

    **Scope of this Position:**

    Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and in a professional manner, informing guests of hotels facilities at time of registration.

    Handle guest issues, complaints, and requests and pro-actively resolve in a manner satisfactory to both the guest and the hotel.

    Answer guest questions regarding local area facilities and be able to give proper directions to these areas.

    Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest special requests.

    Communicate with the incoming shift employees with pertinent information.

    **Qualified Candidates will possess the following:**

    High school diploma or equivalent and prior experience preferred.

    Basic computers skills, including spreadsheets, word processing, and email.

    Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors.

    Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism and enthusiasm.

    Able to work with little or no supervision.
