$23 - $30/hr
Hours:
7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with weekend availability as needed Benefits of the estimator - manufacturing: Retirement programEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offDuties of the estimator- manufacturing : Compute cost and time factors to prepare accurate estimates for customer orders and RFQsIdentify potential vendors or subcontractors to ensure cost-effectivenessReview data to determine material and labor requirementsConsult with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to discuss estimates and resolve issuesMaintain effective relationships with customers to ensure sales volumes and marginsReview purchase orders, blueprints, and quality requirements, and re-price existing jobsRequirements of the estimator- manufacturing : 2-4 years of experience in estimating material cost and laborExperience in metal stamping/fabrication Strong math skills, including decimals, fractions, and metric conversionsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, purchase orders, and procedure manualsSolid customer service/sales background
