    This position is for 1st shift; Monday-Friday 7:00am3:30pm.
  • The Porter is a vital member of the team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility. The primary role of the Porter is to ensure that the work environment is safe and clean for all employees.
    Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.
  • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
  • Cleans warehouse, offices, hallways, lobby, break room, rest rooms, corridors and other work areas
  • Empties trash containers and transports waste to disposal area
  • Replenishes bathroom and break room supplies
  • Keeps walkways clean
  • May perform light maintenance, operate shredder and baler
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area
  • REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment
