Job Description

As a Technical Contact for the departments of Design, Production, Purchasing, and Assembly in Richfield.

Detailed Description

• Develop and propose suggestions for process optimization and workplace design

• Provide technological advice for production and assembly planning (e.g. development of standards/processes for production-related design support, assistance in resolving technological issues in workflow, creation/revision of work plans)

• Support design (development and continuous improvement of standards)

• Cost optimization and support in purchasing (cost estimation for new designs, cost calculation for in-house/outsourced production, evaluation of offers, post-calculation)

• Evaluation and selection of suppliers from a technological perspective

• Facilitate make-or-buy decisions

• Continuous, cross-product identification of potential for design optimization in terms of cost savings
