- Assists with the preparation of reports and registration statements.
- Supports in-house review and processing of documents for document preparation.
- Assists in drafting of summary reports, and conducts related research and analysis.
- Assists in the preparation of documentation for amendments, withdrawals, mergers and dissolutions of corporations, partnerships and/or limited liability companies.
- Assists with contracts and contracts administration.
- Assists in auditing company subsidiaries.
- Assists with preparation and coordination due diligence for transactions and preparation and review of disclosure schedules required for such matters.
- Conducts legal research as requested.
- Assists with preparation and coordination due diligence of new business ventures.
- Helps maintain internal legal department files and updating legal resources.
- Performs routine office duties such as, photocopying, scanning, filing, etc.
- Ensures the timely processing and payment of invoices.
- Associate's degree required.
- 3-5 years' paralegal work experience required, preferably as a Corporate paralegal.
- Certified Paralegal required.
- Notary Public certification required.
- Experience with reading, reviewing, editing legal documents, contracts, and NDAs.
- Familiarity with corporate compliance concepts.
- Prior experience working with contracts and contracts administration.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
- Proficient in Online document storage/filing software, AdobeSign/DocuSign, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates attention to detail.
- Ability to work with highly confidential information.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting.
- Ability to manage both day-to-day operations as well as project work.
