Technip Energies is currently looking for a skilled mechanical engineer to join our team in the vibrant city of Boston, MA. In this role, you will be part of our Piping Engineering division working on diverse projects related to Energy Transition, Circular Economy, and Petrochemicals.

As a Mechanical Engineer at Technip Energies, you will:

Design piping systems and pressure vessels following industry codes and standards
Optimize plant designs for efficiency and compliance
Develop and maintain specifications for various piping components
Perform pressure design calculations and pipe stress analysis
Create detailed piping and equipment layouts
Collaborate with vendors and oversee equipment procurement
Provide on-site technical support during construction and startup
Assist in training and supporting other mechanical engineering functions

Qualifications:

BS in Mechanical Engineering or higher
2-5 years of relevant engineering experience
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software
EIT/PE license or willingness to obtain
Knowledge of industry codes and standards
Experience with pipe stress software and FEA
