- Work with all leaders at Tech Center to aggregate/summarize department KPI/MBOs, health, and identify help needed.
- Areas of focus on but not limited to: Engineering, test and validation, R&D, systems, finance, purchasing, IT, HR, & facilities
- Expect planner to independently take initiative, follow up on projects, and hold team leaders to account.
- Planner is to draft/propose effective performance dashboards understandable to both Korean and English speaking audience.
- This person will partner with team leaders to ensure effective communication to both local and HQ on work tasks, priorities, risks, and planning - strategic tasks and headcount planning.
- Communication will need to be clear to both American and Korean audiences.
- HC and projects aggregation and planning lead.
- Required: bi-lingual - Korean and English.
- Technical, engineering, and/or program management background
- Minimum 3-5 years industry experience
- Very good understanig of global and North American automotive industry
- Highly result-oriented, driven. Ability to work with senior management and drive results.
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in a 4-year accredited university.
- Preferred: Engineering degree. MBA.
- Language Skill Level: Bi-lingual requirements - Korean and English. - Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as key performance indicator instructions, technical specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Effective verbal and written communicate with all levels of employees.
- Math: Intermediate skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Reasoning: Advanced - Ability to understand and execute on bi-lingual performance indicator instructions in highly technical, ambiguous, and complicated reports. Reports are furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Job Summary:
The Strategic Business Planner is responsible for serving as strategic and planning leader and KPI owner of the North American Battery Development organization. In this role, the individual will be working collaboratively with senior team leaders on day to day basis as a chief of staff function. Role will have visibility/exposure to organizational strategy, hierarchy, structure, KPI development, execution, and information flow. The Strategic Business Planner is responsible for aggregating business, engineering, administrative, and KPI/MBO metric development and execution to be presentable to both English and Korean speaking audiences. The main responsibility of the planner is to understand and ensure clear communication with the HQ (Korean) audience and partner with senior team members for the necessary department information on organizational key performance indicators. They will develop relationships with local and global teams. Minimum 2 years. Grade and team can be expanded in the future.
