    What will you be doing as our Supply Chain Manager

    Working with the Global Operations Director and the US Leadership team, you'll establish our Commercial Supply Chain function, building on the existing capability within the wider Operations team


    This will include :
    Management f all commercial supplier relationships for our US business.

    Establishment f new commercial frameworks with existing suppliers including pricing negotiation, quality and service level agreements.

    Setting up f proactive supplier monitoring capability to ensure quality and service levels are maintained.

    Hlding suppliers to account on non-confirming product and performance.


    Overseeing the sourcing and buying of all commercial products and services including raising accurate purchase orders and taking overall responsibility for inventory value.


    Taking responsibility for vendor and product accuracy, you'll proactively manage the supplier roster, introducing new vendors and exiting under-performing vendors when necessary.


    Committed to driving an agenda of continuous improvement in your function through the implementation of local initiatives and process improvements or through collaboration with other departments on cross-functional initiatives.


    Working alongside the Head of Operational Systems and Processes you'll ensure that all your critical processes are documented and are being followed to the highest standards.


    Managing the Supply Chain Planner, and all the associated responsibilities (regular 121s, clear objectives and development plans, performance management as required).


    Working with other teams across the North American business to develop an efficient and harmonious working relationship based on mutual understanding, responding effectively to customer needs and product development.

    What will give you the edge?

    Proven experience of working in a supply chain role in a manufacturing or assembly industry.

    A track record of delivering continuous improvement.

    Conversant with standard ERP systems & methodologies (ideally NetSuite).

    Line management experience.

    Excellent Communication skills and ability to build good working relationships.

    Highly effective at negotiation with strong commercial awareness.

    Can-do attitude with a determination to get the job done.

    Comfortable working in an ambiguous and changeable environment.

    Self-motivated, willing to take the initiative and make decisions.

    Determination and resilience with the ability to rise to the challenge.

    A flexible approach, with a desire to learn and develop.
