Job Purpose Section:


As Supply Planner you will be responsible for the optimization and execution of the E2E short & long-term planning for your portfolio to meet key performance objectives.

You must effectively manage relationships with internal sites/CMOs. Escalate any risks to the business including service, excess inventory, and capacity constraints. Be an expert and leader in your function.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve targets for all key performance indicators including OTIF, slow moving/obsolescence, month/yearend inventory
  • Short/long term planning & execution of assigned portfolio
  • E2E planning & execution of NPIs
  • Provide updates & escalations for weekly SCIM 1 for your portfolio
  • Participate in and contribute to monthly Supply Review meetings with CMOs
  • Provide monthly RCCPs; escalate capacity constraints
  • Manage Artwork changes/transitions to ensure successful implementation
  • Manage finished good inventory levels to meet quarterly and yearend targets
  • Conduct OTIF root cause analysis, gain alignment with SC stakeholders and provide commentary for reporting both locally and globally (Global, SCIM 14)
  • Review MOQs on a regular basis and look for opportunities to optimize
  • Rebalance inventory to satisfy regional distribution requirements for your portfolio
  • Ensure that financial activities are performed by the operational team
  • Monitor the accuracy of master data necessary to run the global distribution plan and escalate issues
  • Coordinate Item Configuration Changes (Pack changes requiring UPC changes, phase in of changes that impact Master Data and Customer Service groups)
  • Effectively manage SKU discontinuations and writeoff liabilities
  • Responsible for full business analysis of distribution planning and opportunities, providing excellent information reporting to the leadership team
  • Act as a change agent in the organization

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Sciences
  • 3-5 years experience in distribution and supply chain
Preferred Skills

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain
  • APICS Certification, Black or Green Belt, Lean Sigma Certification
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Ability to simplify complex processes
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems; SAP APO/ECC, o9 Solutions
  • Sense of urgency, flexibility and accountability
  • Enterprise thinker (end-to-end supply orientation, cross functional team spirit, sharing of good practices within the network)
  • Proven planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead and drive change
