- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
- Determines payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments.
- Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job. Job Qualifications:
- Must have experience working in a payroll processing position.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office; strong knowledge and experience with Excel is required.
- Experience with ADP and Kronos is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines on a consistent basis.
- Maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Stable work history with good references from past employers
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
