What you'll do
The
UX Researcher reports to the Director of Product Design and collaborates with other agile, cross-functional teams to craft consistent and successful end-user experiences.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, planning, and executing user research on the iSeatz platform as well as our existing and growing list of clients.
Your Impact
Application of UX Expertise
- Plan and conduct moderated and unmoderated user tests
- Craft wireframes and other visuals to communicate needs and socialize findings to internal and external stakeholders
Collaboration with Internal and External Teams
- Collaborate with product managers to identify potential research questions/topics
- Work in tandem with your fellow Product Design teammates to communicate findings and additional test possibilities
- Sync with Business Intelligence to provide userbehavior data insights
What you bring to the table
- Embodiment of the iSeatz core values of Accountability, Disciplined, and Impactful
- Bachelor's degree, above, or equivalent professional experience in research, humancomputer interaction, computer science or related field
- Skilled in drafting wireframes using industrystandard design tools like Sketch, Figma, or comparable programs
- Must present a portfolio of industry examples demonstrating stepbystep solutions to project requirements
- Experience driving design decisions for ecommerce solutions
- Experience working iteratively in crossfunctional, agile environments alongside a geographically diverse team
- Ability to readily admit to mistakes and quickly learn from them to make the product better
- Excitement about making an impact by accomplishing smart work and reducing complexity
Bonus points
- Ability to solve problems quickly by identifying root causes
- Understanding that user experience is key above all else, and is best served by partnering with others
- Interest in and curiosity about opportunities within Product Design and Accessibility
Location
This role is remote and can be located anywhere inside the continental United States. iSeatz is a New Orleans-based company with Central Time Zone business hours, but feel free to work from your home office, from the beach, or from the cottage you rented for the summer
