    Technical Support Engineer - Austin, United States - NESCO Inc

    Summary:


    Act as a Technical Engineer supporting nationwide clients in diverse environments, delivering superior assistance as a key member of the production team.

    You will work directly with Community Financial Institutions and their IT/Operations teams. Primary responsibilities would be ensuring that daily files are successfully loaded through various Extract, Transform, and Load processes. Strong drive to resolve complex data transfer and ETL tasks.


    Essential Functions:
    Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in written documentation, process flow, data integrity, and software implementation.
    Create and execute solutions using tools such as SQL, XML, and batch scripting.
    Work independently with minimal supervision, showcasing high personal motivation and a commitment to surpass expectations.
    Thrive in a ticketing environment, taking ownership of tasks and ensuring their completion.
    Conduct quality assurance testing and furnish detailed documentation as required.
    Proactively seek additional responsibilities, assisting other teams when necessary.
    Fulfill other assigned duties.


    Position Requirements:
    Hold a Bachelor's degree or possess equivalent experience.
    Demonstrate 1 year of experience in troubleshooting complex issues and diagnostic skills.
    Understanding of Relational Database concepts.
    Have experience and knowledge of software designed for remote system connection (e.g., Terminal Services Client (RDP), Bomgar).
    Exhibit a good grasp of basic networking, internet concepts, and familiarity with various operating systems.
    Showcase experience in customer service/support.
    Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing MS Server OS including Scheduled Tasks, Batch Files, and Remote Desktop.
    Effectively communicate information and ideas both in written and verbal forms.
    Display superb attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
    Prioritize effectively between multiple clients and related tasks, creating urgency and successfully managing multiple priorities.
    Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
