To support the goals of the plant pertaining to equipment specification, acquisition and installation, work flow, and the productivity improvement process, while furthering our commitment to safety and quality.

Independently investigate opportunities to improve the efficiency, reliability, and productivity of the plant utilities operations.

Analyze, recommend, and implement activities and training that will maximize productivity and reduce costs within the manufacturing processes utilizing data-based analysis and a comprehensive understanding of the plant utility systems.

Assist in capital investment.

Identify, select, create a project scope, identify a budget, create a timeline, cost justify, purchase, install, upgrade, modify and improve capital equipment used in all areas of the plant on time and on budget.

Train plant personnel on systems and work to expand knowledge base of the plant systems across all personnel.

Track financial performance in SAP, create purchase orders, receive shipments, process invoices, and control spending on projectsSupervise the activities of sub-contractors, suppliers, and service personnel.

Assist in long term planning and roadmap creation in order to meet various quality and environmental goals of the site.

Provide support, guidance, and assistance to technical and production personnel.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in major engineering discipline or equivalent experience;3-5 years' experience in project engineering role in like industry including experience gained while in a co-op function;Good communication skills;Attention to detail, ability to follow detailed procedures;Ability to multi-task/prioritize

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to organize/prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and projects, and function effectively as a self-directed leader of multiple initiativesHave a technical aptitude with a willingness to learn new operations / technologies.
