    Description
    A growing and innovative multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Traffic Project Engineer to their Cincinnati team

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide traffic engineering design for a variety of LPA, DOT, and private clients
    • Produce/review traffic impact studies, safety studies, and traffic forecasting
    • Establish guidelines for cost estimates
    • Review/approve cost estimates prepared by others
    • Project Manager duties as needed
    • Serve as subject matter expert
    • Assure project understanding, approach, and technology fully addresses client, regulatory, and best practices technical issues.
    • Independently develop projects

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
    • 7+ years of Traffic Engineering experience
    • Ohio PE License
    • P.T.O.E. preferred
    • Road Safety Professional preferred
    • Experience with MicroStation/Geopak/OpenRoads and/or AutoCad/Civil 3D
    • Experience using other design-related software (SignCad, AutoTurn, HCS, Synchro/Simtraffic, VISSIM, TransModeler, SIDRA, Rodel)
    • Travel demand modeling preferred
    • Basic/advanced GIS capabilities preferred
    • Knowledge of MUTCD policies/procedures
    Salary is commensurate with experience.
