    Job Description

    We are in search of an Acquisition Compliance Specialist to assist a significant project at the General Services Administration. The specialist will oversee tasks and compliance activities throughout the acquisition life cycle in alignment with GSA AAS operational notices, regulations, and agency policies with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness of government contract management endeavors.

    Responsibilities:
    • Conduct reviews of contract documents, files, and processes to ensure compliance with regulations, mandates, and notices.
    • Document contract reviews to facilitate addressing concerns promptly.
    • Support the Integrated Project Team (IPT) in conducting compliance reviews and remediation.
    • Provide administrative support for multiple projects under the IPT, such as performance management, financial tracking, deliverables management, quality assurance/surveillance, and compliance support.
    • Engage in ASSIST platform activities, including contract file administration, reporting, record-keeping in Google Drive, and ECF maintenance tasks like renaming, reorganizing, and uploading documents.
    • Create necessary artifacts like responses to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests, Templates, Corrective Action Plans, and Trends Analysis as approved.
    • Detect compliance gaps and execute remediation activities.
    • Aid in developing and implementing best practices and standard operating procedures.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 8 years of contract work experience according to the Contract Specialist (GS-1102) Qualification Standards

    Knowledge of:
    • Performance-Based Contracts
    • FOIA process
    • Procurement principles and practices
    • Contract preparation and administration principles and practices
    • Contract negotiation techniques
    • Development of procurement and contract standards
    • Contract administration principles and practices
    Skills/Abilities:
    • Contract, specifications, and service agreements preparation and maintenance
    • Structured solicitation activities coordination
    • Support in contract negotiations
    • Interpretation of technical plans and specifications
    • Development of contract specifications and scope of work
    • Various contract administration duties performance
    • Contract terms and conditions research and analysis
