AZAD Technology Partners is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a full-time, W2 Contract position based in Bloomfield, CT.

Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours/week, On-Site

Assignment Duration:

12 Months with possibility of extending.

Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation is between 33

hourly.

Benefits include a

Position Summary / Essential Functions:
Researchandinvestigatethedesign,functionalityandmaintenanceofmechanicalproducts,equipment,systems,andprocesses.
Havetheabilitytomakeengineeringdrawingsandreadandinterpretblueprints.
Thetechnicalskillsincludetheabilitytomakesketchesandengineeringdrawingsandhaveexperienceusingcomputerapplicationsrelatedtotheengineeringfield.
Studytime,motion,methods,andspeedinvolvedinmaintenance,production,andotheroperationstoestablishstandardproductionrateandimproveefficiency.
Reviewworkerlogs,productprocessingsheets,andspecificationsheets,toverifythatrecordsadheretoqualityassurancespecifications.
Reviewandapproveworkassignmentsinaccordancewithworkerperformance,machinecapacity,productionschedules,andanticipateddelays.
Reviewcharts,graphs,anddiagramstoillustrateworkflow,routing,floorlayouts,materialhandling,andmachineutilization.
Evaluatedataandreportstovalidateorindicatedeviationsfromexistingstandards.
Recommendmodificationstoexistingqualityorproductionstandardstoachieveoptimumqualitywithinlimitsofequipmentcapability.
Recommendrevisiontomethodsofoperation,materialhandling,equipmentlayout,orotherchangestoincreaseproductionorimprovestandards.

Minimum Qualifications:
BachelordegreeinMechanicalengineeringrequiredorequivalentexperience.
8-10years'experiencerequiredResponsibilitylevel.
Exercisesindependentjudgmentwithminimaldirectionfromsupervisor.
Creativity,verbalandwrittencommunicationskills,analyticalandproblem-solvingability.
Teamplayeranddetailoriented.
Displaysattributesofacriticalthinkerandleveragesinnovativeideas.
Strongleadershipandmentoringskillsnecessarytoprovidesupportandconstructiveperformancefeedback.

Desired Qualifications:
Fanuc-experiencepreferred.
Okuma-experiencepreferred.
Advancedabilitytomakesketches,engineeringdrawingsandcommoncomputations.
Advancedabilitytoreadandinterpretblueprints,technicaldrawing,schematicsandcomputer-generatedreports.
Previousexperiencewithcomputerapplicationsandsoftwarerelatedtoengineeringfield,suchasComputerAidedDesign(CAD).
