    REPORTS TO: Practice Manager/Administrator

    PURPOSE: The Office Supervisor supports the practice administrator and providers and is responsible for the daily supervision of front office and clerical support. Organizes workflow and ensures that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks. Monitors employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and direction. Supervises, manages, and assures professional completion of all assigned projects. A high focus and level of customer service and professionalism is required.

    Major Accountabilities and Activities

    • Responsible for daily day-to-day supervision of the front office staff and operations. Including daily staffing, lunches, monitoring environment, patient coordination.
    • Assists in identifying and implement process improvements for front office and between front office, call center, ALMA, lab, MA's, and other areas within the practice.
    • Updates and modifies office processes and protocols, including items related to the EMR as required.
    • Actively involved with implementation of marketing, public relations, and other community/practice related activities/events.
    • Manages select activities of the Business Office, including daily processing/closing, troubleshooting patient questions, process improvement and maintenance of office files.
    • Assists Practice Manager with human resource items. Participates in performance evaluation process and interviews.
    • Acts as liaison between the Raby Institute and other health care facilities and organizations.
    • Actively works in the various front office positions 30% of work schedule.
    • Works with front office and providers to identify and implement necessary training and education requirements.
    • Work with providers and other employees to help resolve patient issues as necessary.
    • Performs other related tasks and special projects as assigned.
    • Interfaces and coordinates with vendors such as linen, labs, medical waste, nutraceutical, etc.
    • Actively involved in developing training curriculum and implementation for new hires.

    This position requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
