- Prepare and submit government billing for firm fixed price, cost plus, progress billings, and time and material type of invoices.
- Evaluate and apply appropriate billing requirements in accordance with the US Federal Acquisition Regulation and Cost Accounting Standards as well as other contractual clauses and submit invoices through various complex billing portals.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to meet all government billing requirements.
- Review, enter, and process backup documentation to supplement billing invoices.
- Research and review accounting records for proper documentation regarding billing rates, billing categories, and contract billing requirements to ensure accuracy of billing.
- Track and follow-up on unbilled costs.
- Establish strong working relationships and deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- 3 or more years of recent and relevant billing and general ledger experience.
- Commitment to ethical practices and possess a thorough understanding of confidentiality requirements.
- Ability to work well as both a team member and individual contributor.
- Effective interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
- Deadline-driven, detail-oriented, organized, and efficient professional.
- Solid understanding of MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience working in a government contracting environment preferred.

Your Opportunity:
As a full-time Accounting Specialist for TechSource, you will perform duties for the Accounting Department related to our various government and commercial contracts. You will prepare and submit government billing for various types of contracts. You will also create and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. You may work remotely, with occasional in-office time when necessary. Only residents of Albuquerque, and the surrounding area, will be considered for this role.
