    What's the job all about?

    The Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to learn marketing in the finance industry. The candidate will work closely with the marketing and investment teams to gain a better understanding of marketing campaigns, RFP writing and content creation. This position is based out of our San Diego, CA office.

    The essential functions of the role include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Assist with database administration including content management and narrative population.
    • Support the sales team in printing proposals and gathering supplies for conferences.
    • Copyedit presentations, one pagers, proposals, and corporate communications.
    • Conduct market research
    • Record data into Salesforce and review that all correct data has been entered.
    • Assist with proposals including building a working document, gathering appropriate information and completing addendum checks.
    • Assist in creating and editing procedure documents for marketing functions.
    • Assist with special projects and events.
    Requirements

    This Team Member will have:
    • Must be actively pursuing a degree, preferably in marketing, communications or business from a four-year college or university
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
    • Experience with Salesforce and is a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills(oral and written)
    • Curiosity and the desire to ask questions and learn from co-workers.
    • Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task.
    • Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines.
    • Commitment & enthusiasm toward achieving company goals.
