    In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that customer requirements and specifications are met by providing cradle-to-grave oversight of the specification, design, integration, and acceptance testing of Acutronic products.

    Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.


    Controls Engineer IYour Roles/Responsibilities:
    Review customer Statement of Work (SOW) and technical specifications, providing feedback on missing or insufficiently defined requirements, technical risks, and optimal system architectureContribute to internal and customer design reviews, with responsibilities typically including:Electro-mechanical power unitsSelection of actuators and transmissionsDesign of control systems and overall system modeling using MATLAB/SimulinkCreation and maintenance of the motion system Acceptance Test Procedure documentServe as the lead system integrator for standard electric systems, including but not limited to:Indirect drive, high-speed, high-accuracy systemsSingle and dual three-axis systemsCentrifugesLinear actuation systemsRobotic manipulatorsAuxiliary integration responsibilities include hands-on debugging and correction of residual electrical and mechanical issuesPrimary integration responsibilities include:Calibration of feedback systemsConfiguration of safety interlocksCompensation of control loops (amplifier current loop, motion loops)

    Final acceptance testingCustomer operational trainingYour Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

    Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university, required.

    Basic familiarity with MATLAB and SimulinkA combination of education and experience may be consideredWe Offer:
