We are currently seeking an experienced professional in the sustainability and circular economy fields.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in various topics such as solid waste and sustainable materials management, life cycle assessment, food waste, e-waste, battery recycling, plastic pollution prevention and recycling, and climate change mitigation strategies.
This role involves supporting federal and state government programs and policies.
The job location offers flexibility, with a preference for occasional presence in our offices in Concord, MA, Boston, MA, or Arlington, VA, along with remote work options.
Job Description:
As a circular economy analyst, your responsibilities will include:
Evaluating circular economy policy and technology options related to food waste, critical minerals for the energy transition, and plastic pollution.
Generating visualizations such as tables, charts, and graphs.
Writing guidance documents, technical reports, and policy briefs.
Supporting the development of web-based tools.
Assisting in program and event communications and outreach, including virtual and in-person event logistics.
Collaborating with subject matter experts and interfacing with clients.
Qualifications And Skills:
Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, science, or engineering; a Master's degree in a related field is a plus.
1-3 years of relevant professional experience.
Knowledge and familiarity with sustainability and circular economy topics.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Effective communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly.
Creativity and innovation in generating ideas.
Analytical and data management skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant programs.
Strong time management and organizational skills to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
Interest in current environmental issues, trends, and best practices.
