JOB OVERVIEW
The Security Analytics Team is responsible for providing advanced quantitative tools such as analytic calculators for different asset types, cash flow engines, liquidity evaluation frameworks to Wellington's portfolio management and research teams. Members of the team play critical roles in firm's success by providing proprietary technology solutions, which enable complex investment decision-making.
This Lead Systems Analyst role will be responsible for delivering solutions that aid with advancing and sustaining our Analytics technology platforms. This position requires strong analytic skills; strong communication skills; high attention to details; deep understanding of the math behind fixed income analytics and derivatives; as well as the ability to cultivate relationships with stakeholders to solve complex problems. The primary responsibilities would include the day-to-day reviewing/resolving the inquiries about the analytics variations; leading the project by providing detailed requirements for technologist to implement while collaborating with quant analysts and other business partners. Meanwhile this role has opportunities to learn and deepen the knowledge on the advanced modeling and valuations of the instruments by working closely with quant analysts.
