    Description

    firstPRO is currently seeking resumes for a Business Systems Analyst position in Boston, MA. This is a contract for over 6 months with onsite presence required 4 days a week.

    The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of SDM (System Development Methodology) processes and be capable of analyzing systems and procedures within the Personal/Commercial insurance sector.

    Responsibilities of the role include crafting detailed Functional Requirements, collaborating closely with the development team to execute the requirements, conducting system testing, supporting QA activities, and overseeing User Acceptance testing and production rollouts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Document detailed functional requirements translating business needs into clear system/IT requirements.
    • Collaborate with developers to devise project plans, estimates, and schedules.
    • Assist the Project Manager in estimating requirements for new systems or enhancements.
    • Stay aligned with project timelines and keep the Project Manager informed of progress and any challenges.
    • Work with business teams and QA to develop Use Cases and Test Cases, organizing walkthroughs as necessary.
    • Obtain final approval on functional requirements from the business stakeholders.
    • Interpret Functional Requirements to technical teams, Developers, and QA, organizing walkthroughs as required.
