Analyst, Marketing Analytics Group - Investment Banking Division

Analyst, Marketing Analytics - Investment Banking Division

Canaccord Genuity seeks to hire entrepreneurial, team-oriented, self-motivated, and driven professionals to join our Investment Banking Department. We are seeking an Analyst to join our Marketing Analytics team, which operates within our Investment Banking department. Ideally this role will be located in Boston, with the potential for New York City.

Essential Job Functions

Maintain and build a proprietary database of industry transactions through data analysis
Provide data-based analysis and insights to prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports, graphs, and metrics
Prepare industry-focused, transaction-based graphics and marketing materials that can be leveraged for marketing collateral, pitchbooks, etc.
Demonstrate continuous efforts to improve processes, increase data integrity, and provide quality support for the Investment Banking teams

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Resourceful self-starter; able to work autonomously
Demonstrated team player

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts or Science degree or equivalent years of relevant experience
Demonstrated skills in business/technical writing
Interest in marketing, particularly within a banking/financial services environment
Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications (Not required)

Experience working with online research tools and databases is a plus
