- Analytical and problem-solving skills in buy-side investment management systems and data technologies
- Writing business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and test plans
- Business analysis or systems analysis experience in financial statement analysis, investment management or financial services environment
- Experience with financial instruments including stocks, bonds, swaps, options, futures, forwards, derivatives, and FX
- Experience with advanced investment data concepts including holdings, transactions, security master, analytics, and performance
- Experience of investment workflows in the areas of research, valuation, analysis, risk management and portfolio construction
- Experience writing SQL queries and working with database technologies such as Oracle or SQL Server

JOB OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking a strong Senior Systems Analyst to play a key role, deliver solutions to our business partners, solve complex problems, and strive to advance and sustain world-class technology platforms. This position requires strong analytical skills, with a high attention to detail, and a desire to analyze and solve complex problems. This individual must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work on a variety of assignments with people across the organization. Excellent organization, communication, and delivery skills are required. This individual must be a team player with a desire and willingness to learn. As a member of the Investor Application Support Team, the Senior Systems Analyst plays a critical role in Wellington's success by providing continuous support and solutions to the firm's globally located investors across Asset Allocation, Commodities, Equity, Fixed Income, Macro Analysis and Risk Management.
