CoWorx Staffing is currently seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Des Moines, IA. If you have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:

• Check in drivers.

• Properly processes customers' orders; troubleshoots orders and resolves discrepancies as needed.

• Complete General Knowledge of Hazmat Training to understand HazMat DOT shipping standards.

• Properly utilizes warehouse management system and maintains appropriate documentation.

• Coordinate and update warehouse employees regarding new and modified customer orders.

• Review shipping and receiving reports to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.

• Provides exceptional customer service to incoming callers, customers, and carriers.

• Proactively communicates with customers, employees and the management team to ensure necessary requirements are met.

• Properly process, audits and files various documentation.

• Performs various office support activities.

• Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality are job requirements.

• The ability to get along with others and non-violence is a job requirement to consistently promote a positive team environment.

• Assist other employees in the performance of their assigned duties when necessary.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1-year related experience preferably within a call center environment

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to satisfactorily resolve issues

• Solid ability to multitask with exceptional organizational skills

• Ability to thrive under pressure while delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations

• Hazmat and DOT shipping standards knowledge preferred but not required.

Other Information:

• Temp to hire

• 30 minute unpaid lunch

• Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

• OT as needed
