    Department OverviewThe Inside Channel Account Manager is required to promote sales growth by developing, nurturing and enabling their respective mid-tier account assignments within the Canadian Channel Partner eco-system. The inside channel specialist will create awareness of Motorola Solutions product, software and services by leveraging their subject matter expertise.

    Job Description

    The iCAM role will need the ability to establish strong business relationships at all levels of the partner's organization with the express desire of becoming their trusted business adviser. This individual will also be skilled and proficient in our internal sales enablement and development tools. Each channel specialist will be assigned a geographic area and will be expected to collaborate with their corresponding field sales counterparts. The channel specialist role will be measured and held accountable for both an individual and territory based goals.

    • Establish trust and build strong business relationships with their assigned mid-tier accounts.
    • Drive targeted call campaigns and radiate sales within assigned Partner community
    • Think strategically by analyzing territory/regional data & trends and other operating metrics.
    • Demonstrates thought leadership by bringing new and innovative ideas forward that will continue to transform the channel sales organization
    • Constantly engages with the product team (quarterly) for new product, solutions or service offerings and coordinates appropriate training.
    • Partner closely with Sales Management & Marketing Operations to ensure flawless and seamless execution on promotions, lead management and hand-off activities.
    • Provide high level leadership, counseling and coaching of partner sales resources.
    • Participates in territory/regional meetings and conference calls, as appropriate
    • Travel is required 10-25%

    Specific Knowledge/Skills:

    • Sales/Sales Management/Inside Sales or Support experience is a plus
    • Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships
    • Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and Sales Way philosophy is required
    • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
    • Time management skills are required and must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment
    • Exceptional presentation skills required.
    • Strong coaching skills required; experience in conflict management and situational leadership is a PLUS

    • Penser stratégiquement en analysant les données et tendances territoriales/régionales et d'autres mesures opérationnelles.
    • Fait preuve d'un leadership éclairé en proposant des idées nouvelles et innovantes qui continueront à transformer l'organisation des ventes du canal.
    • S'engage constamment avec l'équipe de produits (trimestriellement) pour de nouveaux produits, solutions ou offres de services et coordonne la formation appropriée.
    • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec la direction des ventes et les opérations marketing afin de garantir une exécution parfaite et transparente des promotions, de la gestion des leads et des activités de transfert.
    • Assurer un leadership de haut niveau, des conseils et un encadrement des ressources commerciales des partenaires.
    • Participer aux réunions territoriales/régionales et aux conférences téléphoniques, le cas échéant
    • Les déplacements sont requis 10-25 %

    Connaissances/compétences spécifiques :

    • Une expérience en vente/gestion des ventes/ventes internes ou support est un atout
    • Expérience avérée en matière d'obtention de résultats de vente et de développement de relations de collaboration
    • Une bonne compréhension de notre stratégie de mise en marché et de notre philosophie Sales Way est requise.
    • Excellentes compétences en communication analytique, verbale et écrite.
    • Des compétences en gestion du temps sont requises et doivent avoir la capacité de gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement complexe et en évolution rapide.
    • Compétences exceptionnelles en matière de présentation requises.
    • Solides compétences en coaching requises ; une expérience en gestion de conflits et en leadership situationnel est un PLUS


    Basic Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree OR 1+ years of sales/customer service experience
    • Must be bilingual in English and French

    • Baccalauréat OU 1+ années d'expérience en vente/service à la clientèle
