    Description

    Laine Recruiting has partnered with a local educational system who is going through a major migration project to Oracle. The project is expected to run through summer of 2025 which is the current go-live target. To complete this transition, they are ramping up a project team including Program Managers, Project Managers and Business Analysts.

    The Program Manager will oversee multiple roles and project managers as well as work with vendors and the system integrator. They are response for status reporting, coordination, and other key aspects of organization bring all projects and roles together for a unified effort.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Accountable for operational/financial metrics and maintaining project/portfolio profitability while ensuring quality of project delivery and maintaining customer reference ability.
    • Responsible for adherence to operational policies and achievement of portfolio performance to support business plan.
    • Provides oversight to projects within portfolio to ensure high customer satisfaction in a profitable manner.
    • Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity.
    • Comfortable working in a matrix management environment.
    • Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
    • Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus.
    Required Skills:
    • 8+ years of experience relevant to this position, including 5 years of project or direct line management experience.
    • BS /MS degree or equivalent experience
    • Experience managing large enterprise projects
    • Experience managing PMO and building program structure
    • Strong analytical and time management skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to effectively manage the customer relationship
    • Prior consulting and/or project management experience required
    • Ability to travel and be on-site
