- Prepare invoices and process payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Review statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transactions in the accounting system.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
- Assist with the implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable function.
- Prior accounts payable or accounting experience is preferred, experience in the real estate or property management industry is a plus.
- Experience in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and/or Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
