    Description
    Medical Receptionist (Part-time

    Work for a cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has over 40 years of experience

    In this part-time role you will assist patients by answering phones, scheduling appointments, and checking them in. You will also provide administrative office support by maintaining files, running reports, and handling clerical duties.


    Hours


    Part-time, Monday 12:00pm-4:00pm, Tue/Thur 9:30am-4:00pm, Friday TBD

    Location


    Honolulu, Oahu

    Pay


    $18 to $20 an hour

    Responsibilities

    • Serve patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
    • Welcome patients and visitors in person or on the phone and answer or refer inquiries.
    • Optimize patients? satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by phone.
    • Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient?s arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule, and reminding providers of service delays.
    • Comfort patients by anticipating patients? anxieties, answering patients? questions, and maintaining the reception area.
    • Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients, and filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims.
    • Protect patients? rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information


    Qualifications

    • Proven customer service skills.
    • Excellent phone etiquette.
    • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to remaining organized.
