- Construction Manager-FP conducts construction inspections to ensure conformance to design specifications and building codes and generating reports. This will include optimizing performance, cost, and schedule by ensuring project objectives are achieved on schedule and at the lowest cost compatible with user requirements. - Be licensed and able to drive a manual transmission non-tactical vehicle (SUV, pickup truck/9 passenger van).
- Pass customer specific training and certifications.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) desired.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification desired.
- Travel: Must be worldwide deployable, often to remote, austere permissive and non-permissive environments.
- Clearance: Must have an current, adjudicated, and active TS/SCI security clearance with Poly. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Experience
- Five (5) years' of experience in construction management
- Experience applying building codes and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.
- One (1) year of OCONUS experience with local contractors and labor forces (may be cumulative over several projects/deployments)
- Six (6) months of experience working in a Government-designated war zone (may be cumulative over several projects/deployments)
- Microsoft Windows and Office Suite encompassing Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Access, and SharePoint
- Knowledge of sound program management techniques
