    Job DescriptionSalary:

    DUTIES:

    Reporting to the Program Director, responsible for outreach and recruitment of Work Sites, Work Site Orientation, and Participant Work Site Assignment

    • Recruit and develop worksite placements for SYEP Older Youth Participants in compliance with contract allocation.
    • Responsible for conducting pre-program work site visits and documentation
    • Responsible for the design of Educational Component elements, including Workplace Readiness, Financial Literacy, Health Education, Higher Education Exploration, Career Exploration, and Reflection and Analysis
    • Coordinate with Project Coordinator in scheduling participants for Participant Orientation
    • Work with the Project Coordinator and seasonal Project Coordinators in the direct implementation and delivery of the Participant Orientation,
    • Responsible for administering appropriate assessment examinations

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or at least three years of College and two years of instructional experience
    • Knowledge of Labor Market and Business Trends
    • Knowledge of local Businesses and Professional Organizations
    • Familiar with Work Readiness skills assessment
    • Ability to meet deadlines and to work a flexible and occasionally hectic schedule
    • Knowledge of SEL and PYD
    • Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Knowledge of East Flatbush, Flatbush, Crown Heights, and Canarsie neighborhoods.
